Dental services include cleanings, sealants, fillings, extractions, root canals on some teeth, crowns, partials and full dentures. Staff provide referrals should a specialist be needed to meet a patient's specific oral health needs. Thorough exams and x-rays are conducted at each initial visit.
Oral health is part of a dynamic health continuum and having healthy teeth and gums is an essential component of good health.
New Dental Patient Appointments
A person wishing to become a dental patient MUST call the health center to get their name on a waiting list. Please call the Carondelet center (314) 678-2971 or the Forest Park Southeast center (314) 371-0336. As appointments become available, people on the waiting list are called in the order that their name appears on the waiting list to schedule an appointment.
A new dental patient appointment includes a thorough examination of the teeth, gums, and oral cancer soft tissue screening, as well as any necessary x-rays. Patients are then scheduled for actual dental treatment on their next appointment.
Most private insurance plans accepted. Patients without insurance are served on a sliding fee based upon income and family size.
All dental patients MUST be a current ACTIVE patient of the physicians at Family Care Health Centers.
